On that note, let’s discuss the section/sub-section-wise preparation strategy to have an edge over others.
Mathematics
Integral and Differential Calculus has to be covered first. If you look at previous years’ papers, you’ll notice that these two chapters are the source of at least 30 questions. These two chapters carry the highest weightage and are highly recommended. Besides the Concept of Domain, Range, and Graph of a Real-Valued Function, the Application of Derivatives in problems of maxima and minima can also be asked.
Candidates who do not have Mathematics in their higher secondary education will have to start from the beginning. So devote at least 2 or 3 hours per day to these two chapters. NCERT Mathematics books or RD Sharma are good places to start.
Matrices is the next most important chapter, followed by Straight Lines and 3D Geometry. These chapters will generate at least ten questions. Also, complete Arithmetic Progressions, Geometric Progressions, Probability, and Trigonometry.

This section intends to test the candidate’s understanding of basic grammar rules, proficiency in vocabulary and comprehensive reading skills.
Grammar and usage, reading comprehension, synonyms and acronyms, fill in the gaps, para jumbles, spot the error, and other topics are covered in the syllabus.
Reading is the most effective approach for developing vocabulary and comprehensive reading skills. Reading is a broad category that encompasses newspapers, novels, and children’s books, among other things.
Reading newspapers will help the candidate increase his vocabulary while also keeping him informed about current events.

Hence, make sure you go through them. Furthermore, Ohm’s Law carries the most weightage, followed by mass, force, and momentum.
Important definitions and formulas should be noted down by the candidate. He or she should make a list of all the formulae and solve at least eight to ten numerical on each.
Chemistry
This section consists primarily of questions based on chemical formulae, equations and reactions.
Like physics, the candidates are asked questions related to the 11th and 12th-grade syllabus in chemistry. These include The basic concept of chemistry, Solution, Surface chemistry, Electrochemistry, Common Applications and Processes of Elements, Halloalken and haloarenes, Alcohol, phenol, and ether, Structure of atoms, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, State of matter, Thermodynamics, Redox reactions, S and P block element and more.
